Water Activities


Fort Saskatchewan is fortunate to be located adjacent to the North Saskatchewan River plus be home to many water related activities! From taking a dip or swim lessons at Harbour Pool, visiting the Lions outdoor pool for tots in the summer, taking your boat or canoe for a cruise on the North Saskatchewan River or enjoying a leisurely stroll along our riverbanks, we have it all!

This city facility has something for every age and interest! From swim lessons, public swim times and great programs, to snorkeling, boat certification and leadership courses PLUS a party rental room, be sure to check out all that's going on.

Kin Family Spray Park
The Kin Family Spray Park is now closed for the season.

The Kin Family Spray Park is open daily from May long weekend to mid-September (weather permitting) from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and admission is free!

Please note: The Kin Family Spray Park will operate on days that are 20 degrees C or above.


West River's Edge Recreational Area
Located just below the Valley Pointe Estates Subdivision, is our newest recreational area. There is easy access to our new boat launch called Red Coat Landing.

Boating enthusiasts have a location in Fort Saskatchewan where they can get their vessel in and out of the North Saskatchewan River.

Strachan's Landing
Strachan's Landing offers a panoramic view of the river.

Lions Park
Lions Park is situated in the downtown Fort Saskatchewan on 104 ST midway between 99 and 100 AVE. This park offers young children a playground and an outdoor wading pool for those hot summer days.
