Tourism Hosting Grant Awarded to Kinette Club Fort Saskatchewan
The Kinette Club Fort Saskatchewan has been awarded $2,500.00 for the upcoming 2017 District 4 Fall Leadership Provincial Conference to be held in Fort Saskatchewan, on November 3 - 5. This event attracts members from across Alberta to attend meetings, workshops and seminars. The Kin Canada is an all-Canadian national service organization made up of dedicated member volunteers. They serve our community’s greatest need through hosting and sponsoring community service projects and events. The Kinette Club’s vision is to promote strong, healthy and engaged Canadian Communities. The club’s members are making a difference in our community. The Fort Saskatchewan Tourism Hosting Grant Program is accepting applications. Eligible events will promote the City and encourage the development of local cultural, recreational, artistic or social events with a focus on tourism or enhancing Fort Saskatchewan’s profile at the international, national or provincial level.
Events must take place within a 12-month period from the day the grant is approved. A final report must be submitted within 90 days of event completion. Grants are awarded for one-time events only. It is not for ongoing operating or capital budgets. Grants awarded will be published on the City’s website at least once in the calendar year.
