Parks & Trails

Swing

There are over 400 hectares of parks, open spaces and recreational areas in our City!

Nature and fitness buffs will marvel at all of the opportunities presented by more than 50 kilometers of trails linking all parts of the city with paved pathways and residential sidewalks. Chart a course through the quiet, wooded area and along our river valley and throughout the city. Click HERE for a map to plan your route or HERE to view a listing of the parks and their features.

The trails are designed for year-round multi-use that includes walking, inline skating, cross country skiing and biking.

For dog lovers, why not bring your pet to exercise and socialize at the City's Off Leash Dog Park located just off 83 AVE in the Eastgate Industrial Park. Open daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Remember to pick up after your pet!

We have it all in Fort Saskatchewan!
