Compost and Woodchips For Sale
COMPOST AND WOODCHIPS ARE NOW AVAILABLE
In 1993, the City of Fort Saskatchewan’s Public Works Department began accepting garden waste, leaves, grass clippings, and woodchips for composting from City residents. Since this time, the City has stocked piled this material, added black soil and screened the compost material making it ready for residents and contractors to purchase.
Please note: No sales will occur on June 19 and 20, 2010.
COMPOST $10.00 per cubic metre plus GST
WOODCHIPS $10.00 per 1/2 ton load plus GST
Compost or Woodchips can be picked up at certain times of the year at:
The Public Works Yard
11121 - 88 Avenue
Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Saturday pick up may be available at the Transfer Station during summer months at:
8609 - 111 Street
10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
