Time: Crafts & Fun at 10 am and Parade at 11 am
Location: Legacy Park
Sheep Info: View the Facebook Event or call 780-992-6261
One sure sign that summer is coming to an end is the departure of our sheep that call Fort Saskatchewan home each summer.
Everyone is invited to join in the annual sheep leaving parade - the sheep will make their traditional walk from Legacy Park through downtown and ending up at the Fort Heritage Precinct. It is the final farewell to the sheep until next spring.
In addition to the Parade, there will be an opportunity to have fun with the sheep in Legacy Park. Starting at 10 am, families, visitors and residents are invited to come down to hang out with the sheep, talk to the Shepherd and watch the dogs work. Everyone can also have fun doing some cool, fun sheep themed crafts. The Funky Mango Food Truck will be on-site serving coffee, hot chocolate, and sheep nuggets starting at 9:30 am.
