The City of Fort Saskatchewan has weekly residential waste and curbside recycling pick-up. To ensure your waste and recycling is picked up, please have it curbside before 7 am on your collection day.

2016 Curbside Waste & Recycling Collection Schedule   Due to upcoming changes to Waste Collection, the 2016 collection schedule remains in effect for the beginning of 2017

The City promotes and encourages recycling with residential curbside recycling using bags.

Paint recycling is also now available at the Recycling and Transfer Station.

Solid Waste with Weekly Co-mingled Recycling fees for 2017:

  • Single Family Dwelling - per month, Residential Premises $26.35
  • Multi-Family Residential - per unit, per month, no container charge $15.81

Dates to Remember:

  • Household Large Item Collection: April 24 to April 28, 2017   
    • Maximum 2 large items per household.
    • Leave them out in an accessible location on your regular waste collection day.
  • Household Toxic Round-Up: Saturday May 27, 2017   
    • Paint, used oil, left-over pesticides, and other household hazardous waste.
    • Bring them to Public Works Yard at 11121 - 88 Ave.
