BI-WEEKLY ORGANICS COLLECTION BEGINS

WHEN: WEEK OF NOVEMBER 4 UNTIL APRIL 26

  • Green organics carts will start being collected every other week beginning the week of November 4 for the winter season. Green carts will be collected on the same day as your black garbage cart every other week.
  • Weekly organics collection will resume in Spring.
  • Blue recycling bags will continue to be collected each week throughout the year.

To prevent materials from freezing to your cart on collection day, put a generous layer of cardboard at the bottom of your cart and in between wet items, such as food waste.
