Treaty 6 and Métis Flag Raising at City Hall

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is proud to announce that the Treaty 6 and Métis flags will be raised at City Hall on Tuesday, June 27. The flag-raising ceremony will begin at 1:00pm and will be prefaced by words from Elder Jesse Morin and the Indigenous Society of Fort Saskatchewan. Attendees are encouraged to gather at 12:30pm to enjoy some light refreshments and time to mingle before the ceremony begins.

Mobile Photo Enforcement Vehicle to Enhance Traffic Safety in Fort Saskatchewan

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is informing residents of the new look of our mobile photo enforcement vehicle as part of the Automated Traffic Enforcement (ATE) program. This vehicle will play a vital role in increasing awareness of speed and traffic safety in specific areas throughout the city.
The mobile photo enforcement vehicle will be clearly identified with the "Drive Safe" sign and will be utilized exclusively in the following areas:

City of Fort Saskatchewan lifts fire ban and implements fire restriction

Effective as of 3:00 p.m. today, the City of Fort Saskatchewan has officially lifted the fire ban and implemented a fire restriction to regulate the use of fires within city limits. The new fire restriction allows residents to engage in the following fire-related activities without requiring a permit:
1. Fire pits must adhere to the guidelines set forth in the City of Fort Saskatchewan Fire Services Bylaw C14-16:
