Fire Services Master Plan coming forward on March 21

The Fort Saskatchewan Fire Master Plan has been prepared to evaluate current response capabilities and to formulate strategic direction for Fire Services. The Plan, among other things, includes an updated 10-Minute Fire Services Response Map. This map informs the requirements for new houses under the National Building Codes.

Fort Air Partnership October through December 2022 Air Monitoring Results

From October through December 2022, Fort Air Partnership (FAP) recorded 12,597 hours of air monitoring data for use in calculating the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) at seven stations in our Airshed.

Hours monitored: 12,597Low risk AQHI (hrs): 11,387Moderate AQHI (hrs): 20Very High AQHI (hrs): 11

City Studying the Future of Indoor Recreation in Fort Saskatchewan

Fort Saskatchewan residents are asked to participate in a recreation planning study by completing an online survey. The survey asks questions on the City’s aquatics, indoor ice, fitness and wellness facilities. Postcards were mailed to each household the week of January 9th with a unique access code to be used at fortsask.ca/RecSurvey.
