Citywide Emergency Siren System Testing

Sirens to be tested on Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7

The citywide emergency siren system will be activated on Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7 between 9:00 am - 2:00 pm for annual maintenance.

Fort Saskatchewan operates three emergency sirens located across the city. These sirens are in place to alert residents of emergencies, such as:

  • Severe weather events, including droughts, windstorms, snow or ice storms, hail, rainstorms or tornadoes;
