Effective June 21, 2023, the West River's Edge Boat Launch is CLOSED until further notice.
High water levels and strong current in the river have created the potential for unsafe conditions. The boat launch will re-open once the river returns to safer levels and flow.

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is proud to announce that the Treaty 6 and Métis flags will be raised at City Hall on Tuesday, June 27. The flag-raising ceremony will begin at 1:00pm and will be prefaced by words from Elder Jesse Morin and the Indigenous Society of Fort Saskatchewan. The City of Fort Saskatchewan is informing residents of the new look of our mobile photo enforcement vehicle as part of the Automated Traffic Enforcement (ATE) program. This vehicle will play a vital role in increasing awareness of speed and traffic safety in specific areas throughout the city.

Effective as of 3:00 p.m. today, the City of Fort Saskatchewan has officially lifted the fire ban and implemented a fire restriction to regulate the use of fires within city limits.
