Around our city and in our lawns, the dandelion is a yearly nuisance. The City deals with dandelions in a different way than you as a homeowner but weather plays a part with the abundance of the yellow flowers.

City removes fire pit ban from local parks

The City of Fort Saskatchewan Fire Department has removed the ban on outdoor fires at City parks due to the low risk of wildfires at this time. City parks are now ready for residents to enjoy controlled fires within the provided fire pits at Turner Park and West River’s Edge.

Over the past several years, improvements at the Fort Heritage Precinct have kept it preserved and well-maintained. This time, the historic 1937 Warden’s Residence, home to the Fort Heritage Precinct’s Visitor Information Centre and administration, is getting a paint job.
