Fort Saskatchewan is gearing up to enhance its transit service starting July 2, 2024, with the launch of the new Route 600 and changes to the local routes. The new commuter route will connect Fort Saskatchewan with Sherwood Park and onward to Edmonton, offering improved commuter transit options and enhancing regional connectivity. The local routes, renumbered to Routes 610 and 611, have also been adjusted to improve reliability and allow connections to the new commuter route.

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is pleased to announce the successful completion of the 2024 Census, achieving a remarkable 99.7% participation rate. This high level of engagement provides essential data to inform future city initiatives.
Aquatics Facility Survey Results
As part of the 2024 Census, residents were asked to vote on the proposed new aquatics facility. The results are as follows:
