The City of Fort Saskatchewan is thrilled to announce the artwork and artist selected for the 2019 Art in Public Places Program. 

The Art in Public Places artist for 2019 is Shirley Yakimets.  Shirley is a resident of Fort Saskatchewan and has been a member of the Fort Saskatchewan Pottery Guild for over 46 years. Emergency Preparedness Week is a national awareness campaign that has taken place annually since 1996. EP Week reminds Canadians to take three simple steps to become better prepared to face a range of emergencies:

  • Know the risks
  • Make a plan

Youth ages 15-24 years-old are encouraged to try something new, and learn more about the community.

Grants for Non-Profit Organizations

The City of Fort Saskatchewan recognizes the important contributions our local non-profit organizations make to our community. If you are a local non-profit and have a community program, event or initiative that you would like to have considered for funding, you may submit a grant application to the City for consideration in the 2020 budget year.

Grant applications will be accepted until June 15th. You can submit your application by mail, email or drop off to City Hall during regular business hours.

Consumer Intercept Survey May 7-11

The City of Fort Saskatchewan will conduct a Consumer Intercept Survey from May 7 to 11 to provide residents the opportunity to have their say on retail shopping in Fort Saskatchewan. Surveyors will be on site at the Dow Centennial Centre, Cornerstone Shopping Centre and throughout Downtown.
