New Transfer Station Facility Construction Begins

Current transfer station will remain open during construction with some service changes
New Transfer Station and Recycle Depot is scheduled to open for full operations late 2021 or early 2022. The current site will stay open during construction 7 days a week from 9am to 5pm, excluding statutory holidays.

Fort Saskatchewan RCMP Respond to Knife Complaint

On Monday, April 19th, the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP were called to a complaint of a male with a large knife pacing back and forth outside an apartment building in the downtown area. RCMP members responded immediately and were able to locate this male. After initial conversations with him, it was clear that he was agitated, and possibly suffering from a Mental Health episode.

The West River's Edge Boat Launch is now open for the season. Please note that the boat launch may close without notice due to changing River conditions.

New Exchange Zone at RCMP and Protective Services Building

The Fort Saskatchewan RCMP along with Protective Services are excited to let the community know about a new exchange zone that has been set up in front of the detachment, located at 200 Town Crest Road. The exchange zone will consist of two parking stalls located towards the south end of the Protective Services Building.
