Residential street sweeping coming to a neighbourhood near you

You may have already seen some street sweeping happening in the highways or city streets. Weather permitting, City Crews start residential sweeping and cleaning from April 19 to May 7.  Signs will be posted 72 hours prior to sweeping. Please obey all signage and watch for flag people when this work is being completed.

Sweeping priorities are as follows:

 1.  Highway and City arterial streets

 2.  Central business district and collector streets

Youth Council is looking for members

The City is searching for youth volunteers between the ages of 14 to 24 years-old to join its Youth Council.

City Responds to the New Round of Provincial Restrictions

The Provincial Government announced changes to current restrictions to combat COVID-19 on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. Effective Wednesday, April 7, 2021 the Fitness Centre at the Dow Centennial Centre will temporarily stop operations.

On a positive note, the ice surface, gymnasium, and indoor field will continue to be available for Youth Sports. Taurus Field will also remain open for Youth Sports. Details are described below:
