Digital copies of the Lesiure Guide are available for download at fortsask.ca/leisureguide. Your printed copies will be delivered with the Fort Saskatchewan Record on August 8. Extra printed copies are also available for pick-up at City Hall, Dow Centennial Centre and Harbour Pool.

The Fort Saskatchewan skatepark expansion is now open for use. Participants are asked to stay away from the snow fenced area to allow the new sod to set. To celebrate this much anticipated expanded park, The City of Fort Saskatchewan and the Fort Saskatchewan Skateboard Society are excited to host a Grand Opening on Saturday, September 14. In March of this year, The Economic Development department spearheaded a public engagement opportunity called Vibrant Downtown to focus on what we want our downtown to be, an how we might make some decisions in the next three years to really see some impacts on the face of downtown.

The Fort Saskatchewan Minor Baseball has been awarded $3,000 for hosting the upcoming U11 Mosquito and U18 Midget Red Sox Provincials this summer. The Red Sox Mosquito will be held July 29 – 29 at Turner Park Diamond. The Red Sox Midget will be held August 2 – 4 at Legion Baseball 1. Both Provincial tournaments will have teams representing different districts across the province.
