Did you know that wearing your seatbelt while being an occupant or driver of a vehicle is the most effective way to reduce injuries and save lives in traffic collisions.  In the event of a collision, unbuckled occupants can become projectiles and injure others or themselves in a vehicle.

Tourism Hosting Grant Awarded to the Wild Rose Old Tyme Fiddlers Association

The Wild Rose Old Tyme Fiddlers Association has been awarded $3000 from the City’s Tourism Hosting Grant. They will be hosting the 2020 Grand North American Old Time Fiddle Championships on July 17 to 19, 2020 at the Shell Theatre. This Fiddle contest is expecting a crowd of 400 - 500 people attend over the course of the weekend with competitors coming from across Canada and the USA.

Call for artist submissions now open

Local artists are invited to enter their submissions to the annual Art in Public Places program. Art in Public Places began in 2005 as a way to showcase local City of Fort Saskatchewan artists who have shown excellence in their body of work. City Council has approved a budget for the purpose of purchasing a piece of art that will be displayed in a public place in Fort Saskatchewan for all residents and visitors to see and appreciate.
