Tourism Hosting Grant Awarded to Fort Saskatchewan Soccer

The Fort Saskatchewan Soccer has been awarded $3,000 for hosting the upcoming U17 Rural Provincials this summer. This event will be held at Taurus Field and other local soccer fields in the City from July 5 - 7, 2019. The U17 Rural Provincials is for both male and female teams representing different districts across the province. This provincial tournament will decide who the tier 4 provincial champion is!

  • 94 Street from Southfort Drive to approximately 300m south of the Hospital is being widened from 2 lanes to 4 lanes
  • A consultant has been selected and design work is complete
  • The project will be re-tendered in January with work taking place in 2022

Hwy 15 & 119 Street Intersection

Stop Signs and Red Lights

We remind drivers to be extra cautious when approaching stop signs and red lights. Failure to stop can have serious consequences. When you drive up to a stop sign or red light please remember:

  • Stop completely at the stop sign or red light before proceeding
  • Stop behind the stop line or crosswalk. If there’s no marked crosswalk at an intersection, stop within three metres of the intersection
