The 2020 edition of Lights Up! will take place on November 27 between 11:00 am and 5:30 pm. The event will look slightly different then in previous years.
All of the activities this year will be taking place at the North West Mounted Police Fort located at the Fort Heritage Precinct. New mandatory restriction are in place for Fort Saskatchewan and the Edmonton area in response to rapidly rising cases of COVID-19. With 59 active cases, Fort Saskatchewan is in the watch area with the Edmonton region.

The City of Fort Saskatchewan’s proposed operating budget for 2021 goes to City Council for deliberations starting Monday, November 16 at 9:00 a.m.
“Administration proposes a 2021 budget that strikes a balance between responding to short-terms impacts from the pandemic to the City’s operating revenues while staying positioned for recovery and maintaining a strong commitment to supporting our core infrastructure, community safety and critical services,” says Chief Financial Officer Jeremy Emann.
