City prepared with continuity plans to keep essential services operating

The spread of the Omicron variant is escalating in our community and it will take everyone’s commitment to following Alberta Health Services Guidelines to keep from overwhelming our front line services.
As of January 14, Fort Saskatchewan has 435 active cases of COVID-19 which is substantially higher than our peak of 175 cases in early October. The City reminds residents that several public health measure are in place and that all public spaces are required to follow the rules.

The Digital Economy Program, in support of small businesses in Alberta, launches today. The program is delivered through a partnership between the City of Fort Saskatchewan, University of Alberta, Business Link and Digital Main Street. The program is funded by the Government of Alberta, Ministry of Jobs, Economy and Innovation.
