The West River's Edge Boat Launch is now OPEN for the season.
Please note that the boat launch may close without notice due to changing river conditions.
Here are some boating basics1. Always wear a lifejacket or personal flotation device!Don't just have it in the boat, wear it.
2. Don't drink and boatConsumption of alcohol while boating is illegal. Alcohol increases the effects of fatigue, sun, wind and boat motion leading to impaired balance, judgement and reaction time.

Local Artist Selected for 2023 Art in Public Places Program

The City of Fort Saskatchewan has officially announced the winning artist selected for the 2023 Art in Public Places program.
Local resident and artist, Trisha Sheppard, is the 2023 winner in the program’s adult category. Her art is acrylic paint on canvas titled “AN ARTIST VIEW”. The title is a nod to Trisha’s view on another style of art. Her inspiration came from a Vancouver artist who paints much of the west coast.
