Survey for Strategic Plan update is closed

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is updating the Strategic Plan for the period 2023 – 2026. The plan is an important direction setting and decision-making tool for City Council and Administration. To help inform this important document, anyone who lives or works in Fort Saskatchewan over the age of 12, was encouraged to complete a quick online survey called “My Fort. My City. My Say.” The survey closed on March 9th.

Safety codes inspections now a shared resource

In 2018, the City of Fort Saskatchewan and Strathcona County signed the Alliance Exploration Agreement. An important aspect of the Agreement was to explore services shared between the two communities and during regular discussions, safety codes inspections was identified as an opportunity.

City seeing increase in contaminated organics and recycling, and increase in garbage going to landfill

Fort Saskatchewan RCMP and the Fort Saskatchewan Policing Committee are hosting a virtual RCMP information session on March 16, 2022. All members of the community are invited to attend.
