Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II passed away on the afternoon of Thursday, September 8, 2022.

  

A period of mourning began at the moment of Queen Elizabeth’s passing, and the Province of Alberta has since declared a 5-day cancellation of all public events in accordance with their Demise of the Crown protocol.
