Since being elected to Council in 2007 and becoming Mayor in 2010, I have seen our City Council become involved in advancing many new infrastructure projects in Fort Saskatchewan. It’s always sad to see summer end. This year has been a stellar summer, nice and hot (if you like that). Lots of time to be outside doing whatever you like to do. Fall is off to a great start, too. September was unusually warm; most of the month had temperatures above average. With the return of fall we have beautiful golden trees again. By the time you read this though, they may be bare.

Construction Updates – October 20, 2022

94 Street Road Widening
- 94 Street from Southfort Drive to approximately 300m south of the Hospital is being widened from 2 lanes to 4 lanes
- Sidewalks are complete
- Curb and gutter is complete for new lanes
- Work on the concrete for the center median is complete
- Final paving is occurring the week of October 17
- Landscaping is complete
- Work includes concrete bump outs at Greenfield Link and Dillingham Ave, raised crosswalks and flashing crosswalk lights
