Special events are planned for all residents to get outdoors, have fun, relax, and reset.

Every year May 1-7 is Mental Health Week in Canada. This year Family and Community Support Services (FCSS), with the support of community partners, has organized a series of events to encourage people to laugh, breathe, reconnect, create, and move.

The West River's Edge Boat Launch is now OPEN for the season.

Please note that the boat launch may close without notice due to changing river conditions.

Here are some boating basics

Local Artist Selected for 2023 Art in Public Places Program

The City of Fort Saskatchewan has officially announced the winning artist selected for the 2023 Art in Public Places program.

Local resident and artist, Trisha Sheppard, is the 2023 winner in the program’s adult category. Her art is acrylic paint on canvas titled “AN ARTIST VIEW”. The title is a nod to Trisha’s view on another style of art. Her inspiration came from a Vancouver artist who paints much of the west coast.
