The City of Fort Saskatchewan will be hosting its first ever Alberta Day celebration on Saturday, September 3.
The Government of Alberta recently announced the establishment of a new annual tradition in celebration of the day the Alberta Act came into effect. Pedestrian Bridge Repairs

Repair work to start on September 6, 2022
Back in July 21, 2022, a vehicle with an oversized load hit the pedestrian overpass bridge over Highway 15 causing damage. Repairs to the bridge is scheduled to start on September 6, 2022. The work should be completed within four to six weeks (weather-permitting).
As advised by the City’s engineering consultant, the pedestrian bridge will remain closed for public safety until the repairs are done. Traffic disruption to a single lane...
