Natural playground coming to Legacy Park!

Construction is slated to being in late Summer/Fall 2022

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is proud to announce $200,000 grant funding from Shell Canada for the construction of a natural children’s playground in Legacy Park.

“Children are curious and love using their imaginations as they play," stated Gale Katchur, Mayor, City of Fort Saskatchewan. "The natural playground will be an opportunity for them to explore and discover in a natural, accessible and less structured setting."

The City of Fort Saskatchewan recognizes the important contributions our local non-profit organizations make to our community. If you are a local non-profit and have a community program, event or initiative that you would like to have considered for funding, you may submit a grant application to the City for consideration in the 2023 budget year.
