New speed limits in Fort Saskatchewan will make for safer roads and more livable neighbourhoods
Speed limits will be changing on May 16 in alignment with the City’s commitment to the Vision Zero traffic safety program and the safe system approach to traffic safety.

Weekly Green Cart Collection Starts May 2 Spring Yard Waste Collection (May 2 - May 6 | May 30 - June 3)
- Place extra yard waste out in brown paper yard waste bags on your collection day this week
- Yard waste placed out for collection in plastic bags will not be collected
- Bags must not exceed 50 lbs each
- Place up to two large items out for pick up by 7 a.m. on your collection day this week
- Items must be in an accessible location
- Items must not exceed 200 lbs each

This month I would like to nominate a couple of people who have gone above and beyond! My husband passed away September of 2015 and Steve and Michelle have been very capably and efficiently blowing and shovelling my heavy snowfalls every winter since then. It is so much appreciated by my children and myself, as I have health issues and their support has allowed me to continue living in my home. Many, many thanks Steve and Michelle!!
