112th Street Widening

•  Design work is underway.
•  Construction is scheduled to start in August

Bulk Water Modernization

•  Design is underway and construction to take place this summer
•  Tender for construction is posted and closes July 14

Dog Kennel

•  Dog Kennel will be located at the Protective Services Building
•  Underground services to the building are complete
•  Work on the foundation is underway
•  Framing is scheduled to start after foundation is complete
•  Work is expected to be complete in August

Hwy 15 & 119 Street Intersection

•  Design is being finalized and construction to take place this summer
•  Construction tender is posted and closes July 16

Highway 15 Bridge Twinning

•  Alberta Transportation is leading this project
•  Work continues on the west side of the North Saskatchewan River
•  Work is underway on the portion of Hwy 15 within the City of Fort Saskatchewan limits.
•  Fort Centre Park Trail Closures in effect August 26, 2019 - October 1, 2022

Local Road Rehab

•  Project locations for the 2020 Local Road Rehab program have been finalized
•  Work on the highway between Westpark Blvd & 84th Street and between 111th Street and 114th Street will start the week of June 22nd. Line painting on the Highway will be complete this week.
•  Work on 101 Ave between 101 Street & 104 Street will be taking place at the end of the week. The road will be temporarily closed during paving which is expected to take place on July 10.
•  Work on 99 Ave between 114 Street and the CN Rail tracks will be taking place at the end of the week

Neighbourhood Rehab – 101 Street

•  Work to replace water, sewer and road infrastructure from 101 Ave to 99 Ave
•  Work has been deferred to 2021

Neighbourhood Rehab – 108 Street

•  Design work to replace water, sewer and road infrastructure on 108 Street from 101 Ave to the end of 108 Street will start in 2020
•  Construction is scheduled for 2021

Old Gaol Bridge Rail Replacement

•  Tender is posted for a contractor to replace the railing on the Old Gaol Bridge
•  The project has been awarded

Pointe Aux Pins Road Widening

•  The project will widen Point Aux Pins road from Wilshire Blvd to Range Road 231. This will bring the road up to the City’s urban standard and provide an asphalt trail on the north side of the road.
•  Design work is underway with construction anticipated to start in the summer

Sportsplex Ice Plant Replacement

•  Contractor has been hired to replace the ice plant. Work scheduled to take place in August

Southview Way Road Extension

•  Southview Way is located between Heartland Ford and the future Fire Hall. The road will be extended approximately 120m to the South
•  Underground utility work is complete
•  Surface work is starting this week
•  Work is expected to be complete in late July, weather depending

Sump Pump Retrofit Program

•   Work has been deferred to 2021

Veterans Way Corridor Widening

•  Design work to widen the first section of the Veterans Way Corridor from 4 lanes to 6 lanes will take place in 2020.
