Residents are advised to give machinery and City Crews room to work

The City of Fort Saskatchewan is currently responding to a snowfall event. City staff are working to maintain roads and building access and respond to inquiries impacting the safety of residents, in a safe and timely manner. Please use Fort Report to inform the City of snow and ice hazards in your area.

City crews will clear snow on major highways, arterials and collectors roads before it starts on residential areas. Once City park crews are finished clearing City buildings and medians they’ll focus to clear bus stops, sidewalks, trails and outdoor ice surfaces.

Please be advised that:

  • There may be delays on local and commuter transit services.

The City thanks its residents for their patience, and for their assistance while it works to clear roads, walkways and trails.
