Official Statement in Response to Anti-Islamic Hate Crime in London, ON

The City of Fort Saskatchewan and the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP would like to offer condolences to the families affected by the anti-Islamic hate crime that took place in London, Ontario and to Muslims in Fort Saskatchewan and across Canada who are mourning.

This horrific crime reinforces the need to speak out against all forms and sources of discrimination and to stand in solidarity with the communities affected. We must be anti-racist, we must speak up. There is no tolerance for Islamophobia or any hate crimes in Fort Saskatchewan.
