Monthly Utility Billing Begins January, 2018

Most of our customers have been asking about monthly billing for utilities to assist with budgeting for household expenses. We are pleased to announce that effective January 1, 2018, your water, sewer and solid waste bill will be sent monthly. Your last bi-monthly bill will be due January 15, 2018.

What's Changing

Monthly bills will be mailed on or around the 23rd of each month and are due on the 15th of the following month. The first monthly bill will be mailed January 23rd with a due date of February 15th. A monthly schedule is also posted on our website.

The change to monthly billing will allow customers to have a more accurate sense of water consumption and will improve household budgeting.

If you are an existing Fort Electronic Payment Plan (FEPP) customer, your payment will be withdrawn on the 15th of each month.

Monthly billing will eliminate the reminder notices. As of February 2018, you will no longer receive a notice if your payment has not been received by the due date.

What’s Staying the Same?

Utility bills will continue to be mailed to the address we have on file, or you can sign up for e-billing at where you can view and pay your utility bills online. The utility bill must be in the account holders name to receive e-bills.
