Permits are required to protect your property and your family. The regulations written within the Land Use Bylaw and the Alberta Building Code are the result of years of research, experience, testing, and feedback. By obtaining the necessary permits, you will have assurance that your project aligns with the standards of the Land Use Bylaw and the Alberta Building Code.
Please note: As of November 1, 2016, the National Energy Code is in effect in the Province of Alberta. Please ensure you are using the proper forms and application packages. If applicable, your project must conform to those requirements. Any questions regarding the Energy Code requirements can be directed to our building inspector.
All permits are priced according with our Fees and Charges Bylaw. View our Fee Schedule.
