Blizzard Cloggers
Our non-profit club has weekly classes that teach clogging to anyone interested. It is a form of percussive dance that looks much like line dancing, sounds like tap dancing and is lots of fun. Our group also does demonstrations of clogging at community festivals, parades, seniors residences and wherever we are asked. Beginner classes usually start in Sept each year. Our season runs from September to May.

Boys and Girls Club
The Boys and Girls Club has been in the community for 35 years, providing a safe, supportive place where children, youth, and families can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships, and develop confidence and skills for life.
Our programs and services are always evolving as community needs and trends change, but we maintain a core set of services which include:

Community Adult Learning & Literacy Society (CALLS) Fort Saskatchewan & Strathcona County
CALLS is a non-profit organization funded by the Government of Alberta. We offer learning opportunities to adult residents in Fort Saskatchewan and Strathcona County.
Our programming focuses on adult learners who face barriers getting into learning opportunities. We offer classes and volunteer led activities for adults who are either learning English or struggle with reading and writing in their daily life. We find volunteer tutors for adults working on math and basic computer skills. We focus on improving access to learning for adult with economic barriers.
CALLS also partners with other community organizations who provide community capacity learning opportunities to help make sure that learning in accessible throughout our communities.

Fort Black Community
We are a group of people of African and Caribbean descents and everyone who self-identifies as black in Fort Saskatchewan and neighbouring communities. Our mission is to share and preserve our African culture, provide a support system for black people in fort Saskatchewan and give back to our community through volunteerism. Through Black History Month this year, we have had virtual programs that focused on education, entertainment, showcasing of black-owned businesses, engagement with local law enforcement and religious institutions.

The Fort Saskatchewan Community Band has been a proud part of Fort Saskatchewan arts and culture since 1984! We are a group made up of both beginner and experienced musicians who enjoy playing a wide variety of music in a wind ensemble setting.

Fun With French Preschool

KidSport
KidSport Fort Saskatchewan provides funding for sports registration fees for children from financially struggling families. Each qualifying applicant is eligible for $400 annually to go towards sport registration fees (hockey, baseball, soccer, martial arts, dancing, gymnastics, etc). Applications can be submitted through our online database or paper applications can be printed, filled out and emailed to us.

The Navy League of Canada - Fort Saskatchewan Branch
The Branch is the sponsoring body of the Navy League and Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Programs. They are responsible for ensuring the youth enrolled in the program have access to the additional supports required to participate in all of the activities that the cadet program has available to them.
