Fort Sask Resiliency Project

Being mentally healthy is about realizing our potential, coping with the normal stresses of life, and feeling like we belong in our communities. It doesn’t mean that there won’t be challenges or hard days but it does mean we feel more prepared to face those challenges. People who live with a mental illness can and do thrive, just as people without a mental illness diagnosis may experience poor mental health.

Each of our paths to mental well-being are unique and the City of Fort Saskatchewan wants to celebrate community wellness and share stories of what residents do to feel mentally well.

Let us know how you take care of your mental wellness, what you do to handle stress, the people or things that inspire you, or even those tough times that taught you how to be more resilient! By sharing these stories we can create a community of caring, can inspire others who are struggling and celebrate resilience!

Submit your stories to the Fort Resiliency project to be featured in the photo library! Send us your story and you can also include a photo, art piece or anything else that represents what mental health means to you!  If you have an audio file or video that you would like to share, please email it to us at FCSSInfo@fortsask.ca.

Tell us your Resiliency Story!
