Weekly Green Cart Collection Starts May 2

Spring Yard Waste Collection (May 2 - May 6 | May 30 - June 3)

  • Place extra yard waste out in brown paper yard waste bags on your collection day this week
  • Yard waste placed out for collection in plastic bags will not be collected
  • Bags must not exceed 50 lbs each

Large Item Collection Week (June 13 - 17)

  • Place up to two large items out for pick up by 7 a.m. on your collection day this week
  • Items must be in an accessible location
  • Items must not exceed 200 lbs each
  • Refridgerators and freezers must have Freon removed prior to set out

Waste Large items

Household Toxic Round-Up (Sept 24, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.)

  • Dispose of old electronics and hazardous waste for FREE at the Transfer Station (11121 - 88 Ave)
  • Accepted items:
    • Paints, stains and solvents
    • Aerosols
    • Propane tanks
    • Used motor oil and automotive fuels
    • Cleaners
    • Fertilizers and pesticides
    • Electronics (phones, TVs, computers, VCRs, etc.)
    • Fluorescent bulbs and ballasts, smoke detectors
    • All types of batteries

Toxic roundup items

Fall Yard Waste Collection (Oct 3 - 7 | Oct 24 - 28)

  • Place extra yard waste out in brown paper yard waste bags on your collection day this week
  • Yard waste placed out for collection in plastic bags will not be collected
  • Bags must not exceed 50 lbs each
