Friday, December 24: Regular local and commuter service is available. Local service ending at 7:00pm

Saturday, December 25:No Transit Service (no service on weekends)

Sunday, December 26: No Transit Service (no service on weekends)

Monday, December 27 to Thursday, December 30: Regular Transit Service will be available for local and commuter service

Friday, December 31: Regular local and commuter service is available. Local service ending at 7:00pm

Saturday, January 1: No Transit Service (no service on weekends)

Sunday, January 2: No Transit Service (no service on weekends)

Monday, January 3: Regular Transit Service Resumes

There will be no schedule changes for any collection day or zone this holiday season. Please put your materials out for collection by 7am on your scheduled collection day.


January 3 - 7 | January 10 - 15

Place your natural trees at the curb for collection at this time.

  • All decorations, garland and tinsel, must be removed from the tree
  • Any tree over 6 feet (two metres) in height must be cut in half

FCSS is accepting nominations for this month’s Good Neighbours! If you have a neighbour who contributes to building a strong, vibrant community in any of the following ways send us your nominations at

  1. Someone who contributes to a positive community spirit
  2. Someone who supports or welcomes neighbours through acts of kindness
  3. Someone who has helped to enhance the quality of life in the neighbourhood through words or deeds.
  4. Someone who has contributed to the overall safety of the neighbourhood.

Nominations are due the third Tuesday of every month and the recipients will be announced the following week!
