2023 PROPERTY ASSESSMENT NOTICES
City Council approved the 2023 Operating Budget which includes an update to the annual Property Assessment & Tax Notices. Commencing 2023, the City will no longer issue combined notices.
Starting February 2023 and each year thereafter, property owners in Fort Saskatchewan will receive a Property Assessment Notice separate from their Property Tax Notice. This notice will include information on their property assessment ONLY and is NOT a tax bill.
Annual Property Tax Notices will be issued in May 2023 with property taxes due June 30, 2023.
Issuing the Property Assessment Notices earlier in the year will give property owners the opportunity to review their assessment and to learn more about how the assessment was determined, prior to receiving their property tax notice.
Property owners requiring additional information may contact our Property Tax Department at 780-992-6228.
