Canada Day Festival in Legacy Park
After the parade, head to Legacy Park for a full day of traditional and new Canada Day activities. There will be no shortage of fun for festival goers at our 2023 main feature activity, the giant Zipline. Let your adrenaline kick-in by taking a ride!
There will be FREE cupcakes and ice cream available following the opening ceremonies at 1pm which are provided by our North Central Co-op.
There will also be a Touch-a-Truck event. Get a close-up experience and take pictures with some of the City’s vehicles and machinery. Play with the lights on a fire truck or police cruiser then pretend you are driving a large tractor.
Activities will run from 1-6pm
$5 wristband covers all activities below (Cash only)
- A giant inflatable zipline sponsored by Aux Sable
- Caricature artists sponsored by Life in the Heartland
- Face Painting and Glitter Tattoos with Crooked Lion sponsored by Life in the Heartland
- Party King will be on site with inflatables and rides that include the Castle Bouncer, Inflatable Axe Throw, TREX Crawl, Tropical Bouncer and Slide, Triple Bungee Run, and a Mechanical Bull.

Fort Heritage Precinct
The North West Mounted Police Fort at the Fort Heritage Precinct will be open for FREE from 1-6pm!
Come by to explore our city’s rich history, interact with costumed interpreters, and learn about Fort Saskatchewan’s essential part in Canada’s rise to nationhood. Don’t forget to stop by the gift shop for a sweet treat or a piece of Canadiana to take home with you!
