Kindercamp runs a morning and afternoon program with a one-hour break in between.

Leaders in training

Leaders in Training (LITs) volunteer their time to help with Children's Summer Camps. LITs attend training, plan program time, lead activities, and participate in field trips. Teens 13 – 17 learn leadership, communication, and supervision skills by working with children, staff, and other volunteers.

Register for free to become a LIT volunteer and a summer program supervisor will contact you in May.

Each LIT will receive:

  • An honorarium of $100.00 for each full week of volunteer work
  • A reference letter
