Shell Theatre and Art Gallery

Volunteers are a key part of our cultural family here at Shell Theatre. Our volunteers put in countless hours of time helping to ensure every show goes off without a hitch. We welcome volunteers of all ages and experience to join our team. All Front-of-House volunteers for the Shell Theatre alternate between the following positions:

Ticket Taker

Ticket takers collect tickets as people enter a performance into the Shell Theatre.

Usher

Ushers will be knowledgeable of the Shell Theatre seating and will assist patrons to their seats. They may also handout programs and seat latecomers.

Coat Check Attendant

For a performance or event, the Coat Check Attendants will assist with the hanging of patrons' coats and distribution of claim tags.

Access Control

At times the entrances and exits into the Sherritt Cultural Pavilion or backstage area will be monitored by Access Control.
