To vote in the 2025 City of Fort Saskatchewan municipal election, you must be:
- A Canadian citizen;
- At least 18 years of age or older; and
- A resident of Alberta and a resident of Fort Saskatchewan.

What do I Need to Register or Update My Information?
All you need is an Alberta Driver’s License or an Alberta Identification Card for everyone you wish to register or update.
Do I Need to Register?
Yes, all voters must be registered on the Permanent Electors Registry. We encourage voters to register in advance to help speed up the process at the polling station.

What if I Don’t Pre-register?
You can still vote! Simply bring a valid ID and proof of address to your voting station. A valid ID must be issued by a Canadian government (federal, provincial, or local) or one of its agencies, and must include your photo, name, and current address.
