Safety Codes Services
Safety Codes Services is a branch within Planning & Development that offers information for all safety code permit disciplines (Building, Plumbing, Gas, Electrical, Private Sewage) and inspections. The branch is the approving authority for all safety codes permit projects within the City of Fort Saskatchewan. The Safety Codes branch also provides advice for safe construction and completion of projects.

Safety Codes Compliance Letter
A safety codes compliance letter may be requested during the sale of a property. The City does not require Safety Codes Compliance Letters, but offers them as an optional service. Safety Codes Compliances are based on all of the safety codes permits that have been applied for the subject property.
