Temporary Tent
Are you wanting to use a temporary tent for your next event? You will need to have the permit in hand before you can put up the tent.
Do I need a permit?
The size of the tent and time used will determine what permits you will need.

Download the Temporary Tent Application Package
As part of your application you will need to submit:
- Application forms
- Site plan showing where you want to place the tent, with distances to property lines, vegetation and buildings on your property
- Flame-Resistant Certificate
- Tent Specifications
- Interior floor plan of the tent showing any cooking facilities, fire extinguisher locations, doors, windows, etc.
- Engineer's stamp for metal frame
You can apply for permits:
- In person to Planning & Development Services. We are on the 2nd Floor of City Hall, 10005 102 Street, Fort Saskatchewan.

Where can I put the tent? |
You will need to place the tent at least 3 m (9.8 ft) from any other buildings or combustibles such as vegetation. |
