The City of Fort Saskatchewan is excited to announce a stellar lineup for this year’s Canada Day celebration at the Legacy Park Bandshell Stage. Headlining the evening are The Washboard Union, joined by Ria Mae and Alberta’s own Travis Dolter. With a mix of award-winning country, catchy pop, and high-energy local talent, July 1 is set to be an unforgettable night of live music.

The Washboard Union is one of Canada’s most celebrated country bands, known for their harmony-rich songs and high-octane performances. Winners of multiple Canadian Country Music Association Awards, the trio continues to win over audiences with their unique style and strong stage presence. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to their music, The Washboard Union’s show promises an unforgettable Canada Day experience.

Supporting Acts: Ria Mae and Travis Dolter

Joining the celebration is Ria Mae, a JUNO-nominated pop singer-songwriter behind hits like Clothes Off and Ooh Love. Known for her thoughtful lyrics and smooth vocals, Ria brings a fresh, modern edge to the stage that fans across genres will enjoy.

Kicking off the evening is Travis Dolter, a rising star from Alberta. With his upbeat country sound and strong local following, Travis will set the tone for a night full of feel-good energy and great music.

Special 40th Anniversary Fireworks Show

This year's fireworks show will be bigger and better to mark the 40th anniversary of Canada Day celebrations in Fort Saskatchewan. Produced by Fireworks Spectacular, the show has been extended to 16 minutes (up from the usual 12) and will feature more fireworks lighting up the sky than in past years.

The enhanced display will begin at 10:45 pm at the Rotary Amphitheatre, located behind the Northwest Mounted Police Fort. Please note the show is weather dependent and may be affected by any fire bans or restrictions in place at the time.
