Plan your fall activities with the City of Fort Saskatchewan. The Fall Leisure Guide is now available online, and registration is open.
This season features fitness classes, preschool, child and youth programs, leadership opportunities, FCSS programs, and activities at the Fort Heritage Precinct. At Harbour Pool, explore Swim for Life lessons, aquatic programs, and leadership pathways, including the new AQ LIT (Aquatic Leaders in Training) program for youth interested in developing leadership skills and learning about careers in aquatics.

Digging in the Dirt explores the mental health struggles faced by Alberta oil sands workers and the emotional toll of life in the oilpatch.

Summer Specialty Tours at the Fort Heritage Precinct
Guided themed tours exploring architecture, nature, homes, and true crime.
Step inside historic buildings and explore the river valley as the Summer Specialty Tours at Fort Heritage Precinct continue.
Choose from these remaining unique guided experiences:
- Wood & Glass Architecture (July 18 & August 8): Explore the craftsmanship, materials, and design of heritage buildings.
- Flora & Fauna (July 25 & August 15): Learn about local plants, trails, and the natural history of the river valley.
Tours run approximately 60 to 90 minutes and are $13 per person (GST included).
Drop-in tours are available, space permitting.

Recycling Round-Up Returns September 12
Safely dispose of household hazardous waste and electronics at Recycling Round-Up.
Bring items like aerosol cans, gasoline, cleaning solvents, paint, tires, household chemicals, and more to the Public Works Yard (11121‒88 Avenue) for safe, environmentally friendly disposal.
One day only, don’t miss it!
