The Spring/Summer Leisure Guide is now available online, giving you the chance to explore all the exciting programs, classes, and activities planned for the season ahead!

Registration Dates to Remember:

  • March 10 @ 8:00 am – Culture & Recreation program registration opens

  • March 11 @ 8:00 am – Harbour Pool registration opens

From energizing fitness classes and engaging culture programs to action-packed summer camps, youth sports, preschool activities, and specialty workshops, there’s something for all ages and interests. Our popular summer camps offer week-long and one-day options designed to keep kids active, creative, and making new friends all season long, be sure to register early, as spots fill quickly!

At Harbour Pool, swimmers can register for lessons and aquatic programs designed to build skills, confidence, and a lifelong love of the water.

Make a splash this Spring Break with Swim to Survive!

Dates: March 23–27, Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Swim to Survive is a hands-on survival training program designed to teach the essential skills needed to survive an unexpected fall into deep water. Participants will learn how to:

  • Roll safely into deep water
  • Tread water for one minute
  • Swim 50 metres

This course is open to all ages and abilities, and families are encouraged to enroll together! The program is adaptable to meet the needs of each participant, incorporating water safety education and skill development based on individual ability levels. This course can be completed in a lifejacket.

Build confidence. Learn life-saving skills. Stay safe in and around water.

Have Your Say on the Land Use Bylaw

The final draft of Fort Saskatchewan’s new Land Use Bylaw will be released on March 16. Review it and share your feedback by April 10.

Coffee with Council

Have a question, an idea, or just want to connect?

Residents are invited to join City Council for Coffee with Council on March 18 for an informal drop in conversation.

Stop by, grab a coffee, and choose a table to chat directly with a Councillor. No speeches and no agenda. Just open, respectful conversation about what matters in the community.
