  • Construction has been deferred to 2027


 

Bike Skills Park

  • Design work is complete
  • Tender for construction has closed and proposals are being evaluated
  • Excess material from the Aquatics project is being stockpiled on site
  • Work will commence in the Summer 2026
  • The Bike Skills Park will be located north of the Dow Baseball Fields
     

 

Helmuth Ritter Fire Station

  • Design has begun to validate the scope and the budget
  • Project will be presented to council on July 7, 2026 for construction funding

Neighbourhood Rehabilitation – 102 Street from 98 Avenue to 99 Avenue

  • Construction on 102 Street from 99 Avenue to 98 Avenue is underway and road is closed, including intersection at 102 Street and 98 Ave
  • 102 Street / 99 Avenue intersection lane reductions scheduled to follow completion of the above
     

Neighbourhood Rehabilitation – 104 Street from 98 Avenue to 99 Avenue

  • Design is underway
  • Construction to occur in 2027
     

Neighbourhood Rehabilitation – 109 Street from 100 Avenue to 101 Avenue

  • Design is underway
  • Construction to occur in 2027
     

 

New Aquatics Facility Project

More information on the New Aquatics Facility Project

  • Construction has started to install sanitary, water, and stormwater infrastructure and fill in the existing ditch. Excess material is being hauled to West River by the Dow Ball Fields.
  • Work has started to install piles for the foundation 
  • Asphalt repairs on Town Crest Road and Greenfield Way are scheduled for early June. Lane closure will occur but no road closure are expected. 
  • Fortis will be installing power in the boulevards along Town Crest Road in June. Minor traffic disruptions are expected.

  • Contract is awarded

Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFB)

  • RRFB’s are pedestrian activated flashing lights
  • Tender is closed and is being evaluated
  • Construction is planned for 2026

  • Contract for construction has been awarded
