Toys For Tickets Program Wrap-Up: Spreading Joy One Toy At A Time
This year’s Toys for Tickets program has successfully concluded, bringing holiday cheer to families in need. Municipal Enforcement issued 77 tickets during the program period, and 79 toys were donated through the program in lieu of fines.
Every donated toy will be given to the Families First Society, ensuring that children in Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding areas experience the magic of the season.
“The Toys for Tickets program is a wonderful way to turn a parking ticket into something positive,” said Sgt. B. Sharpe, Supervisor of Municipal Enforcement. “We’re thrilled to see how this initiative continues to support local families and spread holiday joy.”
The program allowed individuals with eligible parking tickets to donate new toys instead of paying fines. Only parking tickets issued on City of Fort Saskatchewan Bylaw Tags between November 4 to 29 were eligible.
